A new batch of messages released by the State Department on Tuesday shows the former secretary of state and her team routinely shared her upcoming schedules, talking points and sensitive items – such as her iPad password – via the homebrewed system.

Other newly revealed emails, which were posted as the result of litigation, show Clinton’s top advisers griping about her during her time as secretary of State; an Asian ruler who later implemented Sharia law saying he considered former President Bill Clinton part of his “family”; and Clinton talking about Justin Cooper, one of the key figures who administered to her private server.

In an Aug. 20, 2012 conversation, Clinton’s closest aide, Huma Abedin, told her boss she had the iPad password reset. The device had previously given Clinton problems, though Abedin wrote that it’s “all good now.”

At the top of the message, Abedin typed out the entirety of the new password, which was redacted on the State Department release. Clinton responded later with even more information, noting that “I finally realized I had to add the [redacted] to the password!!!!”

To top off the list of incompetent acts John Podesta's password was..... password...

And to think, people actually wanted to trust her with the white house. The entire world dodged a bullet on election night. No doubt.

Hillary's entire campaign was managed by incompetent people. With her clout and damn near every media outlet supporting her she should had won this election hands down.

There is no one to blame for her loss other than her.

Was it really the Russians or incompetency?

I'd say both. As usual.

Watch out with the celebrations of the end of the most recent Democratic Presidency. The reason why we've had MOST of the problems we've had, was NOT due to who was in the White House. And MOST of the people who WERE responsible for it all, are still in office. Including BOTH Parties. All three, if you count the incompetence and fanatical self-blinding errors of the Tea Party as well.

If the recount was successful.
There would have never been any mention of Russian interference.
It was another last ditch failed attempt or they would have brought it up sooner.

The people of Pennsylvania, in the majority, voted for Trump. Not sure what the Clinton's are still b*tching about. Oh, a lot of people didn't get 'paid off' and they are pissed.

BUSTED: FBI Never Even Examined the DNC Servers Over Allegations of Russian Hacking
Claire Bernish January 5, 2017 8 Comments

According to a report, the FBI has never examined the servers of the Democratic National Committee — not even for the six months during which the bureau claimed to be investigating allegations of Russians compromising cyber networks.

In fact, according to a US intelligence official who spoke to Buzzfeed News, “the bureau has still not requested access to the hacked servers, a DNC spokesman said. No US government entity has run an independent forensic analysis on the system.”

While it would seem intuitive for the U.S. Intelligence Community to perform a detailed and methodical analysis of its own, Eric Walker, deputy communications director for the DNC, told Buzzfeed,

“The DNC had several meetings with representatives of the FBI’s Cyber Division and its Washington (DC) Field Office, the Department of Justice’s National Security Division, and U.S. Attorney’s Offices, and it responded to a variety of requests for cooperation, but the FBI never requested access to the DNC’s computer servers,” Walker told BuzzFeed News in an email.

Excuse me DNC, when I hear you got hacked because you set your password = password... it's really hard to feel any sympathy for mind-blowingly asinine stupidity.

You are the one not on topic if you think that. The title question is a general one, whether the Russians were really doing things, or it was "incompetency."

Answering that, involves the entire government, nit just the parts one person may hate or worship.

Unless you want this to be just another whiny rant thread, where someone rattles off how they blame everything they don't like about the world on an evil conspiracy led by the particular people they have built up a paranoid delusion about.

We have plenty of that crap here already.

You are among many who are (purposely?) missing the point.

A foreign government which DOES NOT SUPPORT OUR BEST INTERESTS, has purposely and surreptitiously worked to undermine our most basic and fundamental political structures.

The fact that their invasion of our shores chanced to reveal things that made you feel even more self-righteous about Americans you already hated, doesn't make the INVASION something "nice."

Unless you oppose all foreign intervention here, you are not loyal to the United States.

Think of it in a more personal sense:

if a violent burglar broke into your home, and chanced to find evidence that your spouse was cheating on you, are you going to THANK the burglar, praise them, and let them have free reign of your life, simply because they helped you get rid of your now hated ex?

Only if you are a complete and utter idiot.

Maybe try reading the contents of the post. And I will add I don't see anything relating to paranoid delusion. That would be giving the DNC too much credit.

What I see is a bunch of desperate people deflecting the contents of the emails. It really doesn't relate to who won the election or why they won. It's all about the emails. And by golly it has worked. No longer is MSM discussing the emails all eyes are on who hacked the emails.

"l had a constructive meeting and conversation with the leaders of the Intelligence Community this afternoon. I have tremendous respect for the work and service done by the men and women of this community to our great nation.

"While Russia, China, other countries, outside groups and people are consistently trying to break through the cyber infrastructure of our governmental institutions, businesses and organizations including the Democrat National Committee, there was absolutely no effect on the outcome of the election including the fact that there was no tampering whatsoever with voting machines. There were attempts to hack the Republican National Committee, but the RNC had strong hacking defenses and the hackers were unsuccessful.

"Whether it is our government, organizations, associations or businesses we need to aggressively combat and stop cyberattacks. I will appoint a team to give me a plan within 90 days of taking office. The methods, tools and tactics we use to keep America safe should not be a public discussion that will benefit those who seek to do us harm. Two weeks from today I will take the oath of office and America's safety and security will be my number one priority."

(Gateway Pundit) – One of the most brilliant cyber-security experts has come forward to give his thoughts on the supposed Russian hack of the U.S. election.

Follow
John McAfee ? @officialmcafee
I will be on @RT_America today at 8pm ET. I'll drop a bombshell on today's US intelligence claims. @realDonaldTrump I hope you're listening.

From RT:

The sloppiness of the alleged DNC hack by itself proves it was not organized by a nation state, and the “utter nonsense” presented as proof of Moscow’s involvement is rather evidence of intelligence agencies being “ignorant and naïve,” John McAfee told RT.
The so-called evidence of the Russian involvement in the hacks not only looks like “the most deceptive propaganda was perpetrated on the American public” but actually proves quite the opposite, McAfee believes…

Thus, McAfee believes, the whole “Russian hacking” narrative is either “propaganda intended to incite the American people, to anger toward Russia for some reason, or our intelligence community is so ignorant and naïve that they should all be replaced.”

Cybersecurity specialist believes that based on the presented evidence the hack “cannot possibly be an organized nation-state.”

“The hack on the DNC used a piece of malware a year and a half old and there have been many updates since then, McAfee said. “This was done by an independent one person kid that downloaded the software. Please, this is not an organized hack and certainly not a nation-state that did this.”

China has been blamed for the attack on NOAA. “The Chinese are stealing us blind,” Rep. Frank R. Wolf said. “NOAA told me it was a hack and it was China,” added Wolf. He blamed NOAA for not disclosing the attack “and deliberately misleading the American public in its replies. They had an obligation to tell the truth,” but “they covered it up.”

“China is also suspected in recent hacks of U.S. Investigations Services, the government’s main security clearance contractor, and the Office of Personnel Management, where cyber thieves went for information on employees with top-secret clearances,” reported The Hill.

U.S. Coast Guard contractor stole personal data more than 250 times while repairing PCs

But not all cyber threats that result in pilfered private information can be laid at the feet of Chinese or Russian hackers. For example, a contractor for the U.S. Coast Guard who worked as a computer “help desk” technician “pleaded guilty to stealing personal information from hundreds of computers and other electronic devices that he was supposed to be fixing.”

“Court documents show that more than 250 times, Mathews copied personal information and files from computers and other electronics that had been brought to him for repair. The stolen information and files included account names and passwords, as well as sexually-explicit photos and videos.” WTNH added that 34-year-old Larry Mathews “only shared the stolen information with one person, who reported him to police.”
