I bought it in 1977 and it was in great shape. I remember folding the back seat down and driving with my son in the back supported with blankets to keep him from rolling around. You know, back in the ancient years before baby seats and seat belts. Thank god I was a safe driver. Today that would get me thrown in jail.

No seat belts in my 63 Nova.. I like to alter, so it had bucket seats..

Too many neighbors.
Closed in.

I just think older cars are much cooler looking than the cars made today. they were simpler to work on then too. they're just beautiful cars. they weren't as hard to break as the newer ones are.

I love old cars cus they don't have computers and dash lights that come on keeping you from getting inspected every year until you spend hundreds of $$ replacing sensor's that went bad and made a light go on on the dash.. shit my 99 dodge truck doesn't like humidity and the whole dash goes dead except every light is lit up until you run the heat for an hour then it dry's out and works again,, but in feb. it wont dry out and that is when the inspection sticker runs out

yeah the older cars don't have all that jazz. you don't really need it to have a good dependable vehicle that'll last. personally I think the computers make them less dependable. you can't push your car to kick start these newer cars if your battery dies. lol

I see some old cars around town sometimes. I never get tired of seeing them.

Every car I've owned I bought myself. They sure as he'll weren't given to me by a parent, a spouse, or a random act of kidness.

I've never laid up under anybody's a** and asked (begged) for handouts. If I couldnt afford to buy it,I didnt have it.

Cool car? WTF cares? Color, style, age doesn't make 9th dayum engine run.

And while I'm on my soapbox -- fk you wh*res who give real women a bad name due to your cheap fk asses, wanting jewery, diamonds, houses, cars, vacations, clothes -- golddigging scum -- you too (and you know who you are) get off your back and work to support yourself, not sell yourself.

My very first car bought with my own money (well my stepdad loaned me $700 & paid 6mo worth of insurance & I paid him back $50 a week) Powder Baby Blue 69 Ford Falcon 260? St,6 3 on the tree shifting,,It was a dog, wouldnt go over 75mph and I put it through hell, But that old piece of shit never failed to start and get me there the 2 years I owned it

My 2nd car and still to this day my favorite Hot Rod,,70 Ford Torino GT Fastback, 351 Cleveland. That car would SCREAM, Do not go how fast it would go, speedo went to 120 and I had it bottomed out past the 120 mark by a inch. But in a straight line,,Cornering was a different story, It was a tank cornering,,I never could spin it out,But damn there were times It should had

WTF R U mumbling about,Driver?

First of all, you don't have right to tell me WTF to be proud of or not!

Now that that is established -- my grandchildren are none of your fkn concern unless you're their parent and if you are -- Shame on YOU for exposing your brats to your nasty assed way of life. (MY kids are grown -- and nearly all of my grandkids are, too. Get my point, yet?

As for my grandkids and what they think -- that's on them as long as they support themselves and stay out of my way.

Anything else you want to front me with, Driver? Bring it now! I dont have time for your trying ass.

My coolest looking and best riding car was a 77 Cutlass Salon. A conservative looking pimpmobile that drove like a soft puffy cloud fueled by amphetamines. At least until the engine went tits up 6 months after I bought it with the money I earned at my Summer job when I was in school. Lemme try to find a faux-toe of one...

Mine was a light tan with a brown fake leather top.

I always liked the Cutlass model, even that one...

My 69 was tomato red with black interior.. Sweet ride till the timing chain blew it's wad.. It was a high compression engine, so it warped valves in the process..

YEAH! A buddy had one of those and it was his baby. Black exterior with red interior. It was great cuz he ALWAYS liked being the wheel man and had a great cassette player and speakers. He drove. The rest of us drank Old Syle and Schlitz beer and smoked joints and listened to his Rolling Stones and Who tapes.

1970's GM

Open the heavy a** doors and see a shiny a** metal plate with a carriage on it that says "Body By Fisher" every single one,, And for its 5th birthday you get heavy a** doors that sag, wont shut and rust all up under the plate.
